In addition to our bookshop, Gary is a lawyer and Kathi is a published crossword puzzle writer. Kathi's first hardcover crossword book was published by Jason Aronson in 1998.

Between us we have two grown sons, Joshua and Ezra, and a daughter, Claudia.

We have been selling books on the internet for over  ten years now. We have a beautiful Colonial Revival house in Waterbury, with a large carriage house in the back. Gary's law office is in a wing of the house. Gary has always lived in Waterbury and is a recognized amateur historian within the city. Kathi was originally from New Bedford, MA and has lived in CT for 22 years. We are both involved as volunteers in various civic and religious organizations

We travel all over the New York and New England area in search of books for our customers.

When you call for a book, you will likely be greeted by Lynn or Chris , our secretaries. They answer the telephone
for the law office and the book business so be patient and let them know exactly what you need. Lynn and Chris are  available Monday to Friday from 9-12 and 1-5. The remainder of the time we use an answering machine. Of course email is always available and the quickest response time.
